Since moving to the Northwest I have noticed that my love of black and white photography has been growing. Maybe it is the weather or the Seattle skyline. The way that Seattle meets the sea with its cranes and docks ringed by lush forests and snowy mountains.

My eye has always been drawn to small objects and details. The dust on an old windowsill...The veins in a leaf as the sun shines through it. These are the little things that add depth and richness to our life.

Today I will walk the streets of Seattle or Portland snaping images of events as they unfold. Some of my current interests are in commercial fishing, building sites, and bridges.
