I have lived across the country from Detroit to Montana. Seeing all sides of American culture and society. Everything I see I take away and stash in the corner of my brain to bring forward and use to create an image or to tell a story. The small details are what stand out the most for me. The cracks in the sidewalk--Dust on a window sill--Sun shining through a leaf. Capturing these details that often are overlooked are some of the biggest challenges and yet they add the most depth to the screen.

My love for Cinematography dates back to when I was 8 years old and getting ready to travel across the country with my grandparents. I found an old Argus Super8 camera and after some begging I got a few rolls of film. Somewhere in the Rocky Mountains while trying to shoot every Eagle, Hawk, Deer, and Rock I could find it all hit me. I found my passion. That old Argus camera still sits on my shelf and I am seen walking down the street with my Beaulieu Super8 in hand capturing the world as it unfolds at my feet. Because at the end of the day I am most happy sitting behind a camera looking at the light coming through the lens.
